Decorgel was distinguished by CITE (Comissão para a Igualdade no Trabalho e no Emprego) with the ‘Equal Pay Label’ 2024, in recognition of its good practices in promoting equal pay for women and men, for equal work or work of equal value.
This label is a result of Decorgel’s ongoing commitment to gender equality and the fight against the pay gap.
In Portugal, women are still facing an average pay gap of 13.2 per cent compared to men, a rate that rises to 16 per cent considering awards and subsidies.
Decorgel’s mission is to contribute to a more equitable work environment, where everyone, regardless of gender, has the same opportunities and rewards for their work. This recognition is an important step towards building an increasingly inclusive and equal corporate culture.
